Since 2015, we've been fortunate to be supported by an incredible community, of which you are a part. Discover a unique story and a human adventure that engages us far beyond painting and decorating!

2008: the idea
It was while using a seaweed shampoo that Lionel had the incredible idea of putting it in paint.

2012: the patent
The product was developed after four years of R&D in partnership with students from the Rennes chemistry school and the CEVA in Pleubian (22). The patent is registered with the INPI.

2015: Algo hoists the mainsail
Algo Paint is officially established and immediately asserts its values with the start of a collaboration with the Cesson Sévigné ESAT. Our beautiful paint is presented as a "Climate Solution" at COP21, an important recognition for the future!

2016: awards and trophies
Numerous innovation awards were won, the most notable of which was the Pierre Potier Prize, presented personally by Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron.

2017: the first professional projects
Renowned manufacturers are entrusting us with major projects; this is the launch of the professional range!

2021: the community
We're launching our first pop-up store and co-creating the new Algo color chart with our clients and interior design partners. Numerous CSR initiatives are underway.

2022: the commitment
Numerous beach cleaning operations and solidarity actions have been carried out by our teams and our partners.
