True to our values, Algo® contributes to well-being and the preservation of the environment by offering an innovative and eco-responsible product.
Our paints, made from up to 98% bio-sourced resin, contribute to environmental protection by avoiding fossil fuels as much as possible.
It is because we are proud of our values that we are very pleased to be associated with the project of Julien Moreau, eco-adventurer .
“We must act concretely, bringing Man and Nature back to the heart of our problems.” Julien Moreau
A Breton athlete, Julien aims to raise awareness among young people about an eco-responsible approach through large-scale sporting challenges.
"Ju" is not at his first attempt. In fact, he has already completed the first round of Brittany by paddle (1200 kilometers), the "#Swim4Ocean" challenge which consisted of swimming from Jersey to Saint-Malo (60 kilometers of swimming) or even the #BZHTour which was an adventure of 2500 kilometers over 80 days!
Add to these sporting challenges an environmental approach and that makes Julien Moreau an “eco-adventurer”.
For his BZHTour project, 35 conferences were given to more than 2,000 young people in order to raise awareness among this generation about environmental protection.
All these feats are carried out with the aim of supporting strong values linked to the defense of the environment. Algo® fully associates itself with this initiative by supporting Julien Moreau , who defends with fervor and passion these values that we share.
The longest triathlon in the world!
Having started on Tuesday, May 1st by bike from the National Assembly, this triathlon will combine swimming, running and cycling until October 24th in Hyères!
No less than 4,500 kilometers of cycling, 375 kilometers of swimming and 1,150 kilometers of running await Julien Moreau in order to defend his beliefs.
The aim being to raise awareness among residents, Julien works every day in a school.
The greatest wish of this adventure is to succeed in creating laws for ecology within French schools, through debates and meetings.
At the start of the race on May 1st , a decree was even handed to Nicolas Hulot (Minister of Transition and Solidarity). This decree's mission is to replace plastic bottles in school cafeterias with tap water.
More than just a sporting adventure, Julien Moreau is taking a positive approach to the environment.
And why not ecological schools?
Still with the aim of raising awareness among younger generations about environmental protection, eco-schools are implementing programs adapted to sustainable development.
Two labels offer programs related to environmental issues: the E3D label from the national education system and the eco-school label from the Teragir association.
Several themes are covered in these programs such as water, energy and waste management.
Today, 3.9% of French establishments are following this approach. Aware of the merits of this initiative, Julien Moreau is a driving force behind the project.
This unique challenge is characterized by unwavering determination and self-improvement in the service of nature and the environment.
Also very attached to these values , it is the entire Algo® team that joins him in the success of his projects!
