Finding the perfect color is an exciting process, and it's true that projecting yourself isn't always easy. For the bathroom, several key colors stand out: while blue is a strong color, green is also one of the best-selling bathroom colors.

With a very wide color palette, the shade of green to apply in your bathroom can be a subject of questions, which is why our color consultant Anne-Sophie offers you a selection of greens suitable for a bathroom.

Water green, or mint green: focus on soothing greens

Soft and light greens will probably be the easiest to combine in your bathroom: and for good reason, they will firstly allow you to not overload the room but also to provide a spacious effect.

A soothing green will also offer a feeling of certain serenity and stands out from any trend: pastel green colors can be combined much more easily with other colors in the color chart: whether they are darker or, conversely, lighter, such as white, for example.

Another advantage is that very light greens are quite neutral and as such there is no need to worry that the chosen color might become "out of fashion" in the long run.

Soothing sea green, a trendy color for bathroom decor

A refreshing and bright color par excellence, this is sure to be an interesting shade for your bathroom. Soft pale green combined with a touch of light blue creates a trendy color.

For a light and bright atmosphere, it will be perfect combined with pure white, providing brightness and a feeling of space to your room.

There are many possible combinations with this shade, starting with deep blues (Pacific Blue)

Our idea for light green in the bathroom, agave green

Agave green is a muted, very soft green. Compromising on color isn't a risk with this light and understated shade.

Possibly, two color options will be perfectly suited to agave green: white or beige, which will allow agave green to reveal itself and unveil its full potential by highlighting its subtle depth.

It will also be entirely possible to combine it with stronger colors such as blues for example, which will be perfectly accompanied by this subtle green.

Sage green, or fir green: these greens should be applied sparingly to your walls

Of course, there are some very beautiful shades among dark greens, such as sage green and fir green. However, we don't necessarily recommend using them in all conditions.

Indeed, if your bathroom is small, then these colors are not necessarily recommended. Firstly, because darker greens will not reflect light as much as the softer greens presented previously. However, they will be perfectly suitable and even recommended if your bathroom is spacious.

In this context, it will be entirely possible for you to explore more daring color combinations: sage green, fir green or forest green will no longer be a problem!

Another idea: you can play with tones by using several greens.

To conclude: what green for a bathroom?

Soft, light greens like sea green are perfect shades for a bathroom. They will look great in any bathroom, which isn't the case with all greens.

Darker shades of green can also be used, although they are primarily recommended for bathrooms that are spacious and bright. An emerald green will add sophistication to the space.
