What color should I pair with beige in a bedroom?
Beige is a soft color that adapts to almost any decor style and pairs well with many shades. Before choosing which shade you want to pair with beige in your bedroom, it's important to think about the desired effect and style. Generally speaking, you should favor light tones for their relaxing properties and avoid dark tones that will greatly darken the room. To create a pleasant atmosphere, consider light terracotta tones that will immediately warm the room's atmosphere. Light greens will be interesting for their vegetal side, light grays for their mineral ambiance. Light blues are a little colder but bring a very soothing touch to the room. In short, choose light or pastel shades to pair with beige in your bedroom, you'll be sure not to go wrong!
How to decorate a beige bedroom?
Stuck for decorating ideas? A few simple decorative elements are all it takes to transform your beige bedroom. You can start by adding a few brighter pops of color, whether through vibrant wallpaper accents, elegant cushions, or a piece of natural solid wood furniture like a bedside table. This adds a touch of originality without letting the bright colors overpower the room.
Lighter colors like blues, greens, or pinks can also be used on a bedroom wall to make the beige stand out more, while using a brighter colored rug is ideal for breaking up the monotony of beige walls. Finally, placing a few paintings on the walls adds personality without overwhelming the room—the style is up to you! With creativity and minimal effort, any beige bedroom can become the centerpiece of your home.
A pollutant-free interior
I suffer from endometriosis and adenomyosis, two chronic multifactorial diseases whose presence and development are linked (among other things) to exposure to certain organic pollutants. This has made me very sensitive to what I consume on a daily basis, in terms of food, clothing, and interior design.
As a naturopath, I am aware that indoor air, especially in homes, is polluted in a specific way compared to outdoor air. However, I spend most of my time at home working remotely for my consultations. As I further researched, I realized that there are many sources of pollution in homes:
- Combustion appliances
- Construction & decoration materials (paint, glues, varnishes, etc.)
- New furniture & objects
- Fresh or dried treated plants
- Cleaning products
- Candles, incense, odor destroyers, home fragrances
- Molds
- Electromagnetic waves, electronic devices
Algo offers the most health- and environmentally friendly primers and paints on the market. I saw it for myself: I painted my room without any headaches, and I felt good during and after my room renovation.
