A totally hybrid color from the color chart!
The magic of color means that sometimes certain shades belong to several color families. This is the case with our mullein blue-green, which can subjectively be considered a green or a blue. At Algo, we consider it to be both, for the greater joy of your walls.
A deep shade that brings a real presence to the room, mullein blue-green is above all a color that will reveal your decorative elements and the colors of these elements.
It can be used in several rooms of the house and will be even more at home in a bedroom.
"I hesitated between a duck blue, a light green and a turquoise blue."
"I spent a long time looking for the right color: I hesitated between duck blue, light green, and turquoise blue. There are a lot of greens and blues in the Algo range, my idea was to choose a pretty, fairly dark, and original color.
Duck egg blue is a color I love, but many people have used it in their homes. I also really like greens, like Tatihou, for example, but I chose mullein blue-green because it's a slightly darker color.
I'm happy with my choice, it's an original color and I like it.
What color goes with the cute blue-green?
Mullein blue-green is radiant when applied in small touches, and therefore when combined with other shades from our color chart.
We offer 3 shades that can be used perfectly with the coquettish blue-green paint:
- Beige Nude : Beige subtly tinged with a hint of brown and gray, its neutral color will help to combine it with many colors from the color chart including the pretty blue green.
- Bréhat Pink : A warm and contemporary color, Bréhat pink is an earthy color that has the advantage of being a little softer and lighter than terracotta. However, the combination with the flirty blue-green must be subtle and in small touches given its two strong colors.
- Midnight Blue : Midnight blue is a blue very close to black, more sophisticated with the addition of blue. Like Rose Bréhat, midnight blue is perfect applied in small touches to make a difference. Its dark and very present side means that this paint must be applied in small touches
Mullein blue green can be used in a living room, kitchen, bedroom or bathroom

In a living room, mullein blue-green will be perfectly suited to a sparing application, especially on a section of wall. To combine mullein blue-green, we recommend warm white or a beige, which will highlight the character of this shade. The use of white is no exception.
In your kitchen our recommendation is the same: mullein blue-green is a strong shade, it is recommended to combine it with a softer and neutral color although it is possible to apply it in a total look.
The most suitable room for the shade of Blue Green Mullein remains the bedroom: whether it's the master bedroom or the child's bedroom. This color is suitable for many atmospheres and can be used in many compositions.
Additional information:
It is recommended to use one undercoat and two topcoats to achieve a consistent result.
However, on bright shades, it is sometimes necessary to apply a 3rd coat to best reveal the color of the shade.
Since Mullein Blue Green is one of our bright shades, we recommend planning enough paint to use a potential 3rd coat of paint.
