Support the Vern-sur-Seiche health center in the Green Solution Awards competition

The health center located in Vern sur Seiche is a group of professionals whose objective is to bring together several players in the medical field, thus making it possible to promote access to care within sparsely populated population areas and thus optimize the health pathway and the quality of care.

The project that receives the most likes by September 10 will be awarded the public prize.

  • A building painted in Algo is in the running for the Green Solutions Awards competition!

Project carried out in Algo® paint , it is with pleasure that we put our community to work to make this project one of the winners of this competition!

During the report on Algo® on the C8 program , Doctor Frédéric Beuneux praised the merits of our paint: "It's an eco-environmental product, so it seemed obvious to us to come and decorate all the walls of this health center, which is made of 80% bio-sourced materials, with a paint that has low emissivity. Everyone uses paint at home, and no one asks what it's made of: all the volatile products and products derived from petroleum chemistry. It turns out that algae paint actually has no particles or emissions. And above all, I think that painters should be satisfied with using a product that they can breathe without a mask and which, when they get home in the evening, has not further damaged their health."

The Algo range aims to protect the health of its applicators by offering a product made up of up to 98% bio-sourced resin, significantly reducing the number of VOCs per liter.

Our approach is supported by eco-label certified paint, and we have been fortunate to see our innovation rewarded on numerous occasions.

For the design of this building, Bâtir France Ingénierie entrusted the architect Jean François Carlo.

At the heart of this wonderful initiative, we can only support the participation of the Vern-sur-Seiche health center in this competition.

A PassivHaus-certified building, this healthcare organization had already been recognized in the past by being one of ADEME's winning projects as a "high-performance building and bio-sourced materials" in 2016, further strengthening the approach of this construction.

In addition to the ecological dimension of this project by using mainly bio-sourced materials including Algo® paint, local companies also had the honor of taking part in this construction. This is particularly the case of the company Tiriault , certified AlgoTeam® applicator and which was the painting company chosen for this construction.

The complex has a total surface area of 970m2 on 3 levels and can accommodate 25 healthcare professionals.

Built in close collaboration with Spie Ingénierie , the building has been occupied since February 25. The construction of this building is a real success.

A project manager for over 30 years, Spie Ingénierie specializes in the design and construction of healthcare, industrial, and commercial buildings. Since 1985, more than 1,000 projects, such as the Vern-sur-Seiche health center, have been completed.
