Colors have an undeniable impact on the emotions and behavior of each of us: this is also the case for your boy.

To ensure your child's safety and comfort, harmonious decor is important. Depending on the colors chosen, the shade chosen can promote concentration or creativity. Of course, the colors should be chosen according to your child's tastes.

How do I paint my son's room?

Preparing the room to be painted is just as important as choosing the color!

First, you will have to prepare your surface: this step requires sanding and washing the wall surfaces on which you wish to apply the paint. As mentioned in the DTU, it is recommended to have a "clean, sound, dry and consistent" surface.

Once this step is over, you will need to choose your undercoat and your finishing paint: for the child's bedroom it will naturally be recommended to opt for the most ecological and natural paint possible.

Algo paints and undercoats are therefore perfectly suited to children's bedrooms: for a bedroom, a satin finish will be more suitable due to its silkier, more luminous character but also for its washability.

In order to succeed in your painting project, you will be recommended to choose suitable tools: for your child's room, you can apply the paint with a spray gun or with a 14 mm microfiber roller (which is the most suitable roller for our paint).

When using a spray gun, a dilution of up to 10% may be possible. If the paint is applied with a roller, a dilution of up to 5% is sufficient.
