Frequently Asked Questions

Do you recommend using an undercoat?

Oh yes! No matter how well prepared your surface is, you'll gain in ease of application and, above all, in the quality of your finish. For a few dozen euros more, the rendering of the shade you choose will be faithful and the small imperfections on your wall will be reduced: it's really worth it!

What tools do you recommend?

Regarding the application of our paint, we recommend using 14 mm microfibre rollers, crossing the layers well during application.

Our rollers are available on our website with or without a frame: https://www.peinture-algo.fr/products/monture-clip-rouleau-microfibre?variant=34044858073220

Does the paint have a smell?

Based on the elements that make up our paint range, we confirm that our paint emits very little, if any, odor depending on each person's subjectivity.

It may be related to the evaporation of water after application for 24/48 hours. In any case, it remains very low and not at all bothersome.

How many diapers do you recommend?

Our beautiful shades will last you for many years. Take the time to apply a base coat and two top coats for an optimal, smooth finish that matches the shade you have carefully selected for your home!

Cream color

Cream is becoming increasingly popular, as are so-called tinted whites. This trend is accentuated by the ability of cream-colored shades (such as beige or off-white, for example) to create sophisticated, yet above all neutral and timeless ambiances.
The warm look that cream-colored shades provide also contributes to the popularity of this type of shade.

Generally soft and subtle, creamy beige has a definite advantage over other colors: that of diffusing light into the room where it is applied.
Going further, it is a real ally for associations and harmonies of colors.
Creamy beige can be combined with an exponential number of shades and therefore adapts to any ambiance in the room.

As you might have guessed, whether as a total look or as an accompanying color, creamy beige is a color for which tastes and colors are not discussed.

What color should I use to apply creamy beige?

Sunday night pancakes:
Sunday night crepe is a brown that can be thought of as an earthy color.
Warm, this brown will be perfect combined with the softness of creamy beige which will enhance the color.
This combination will be particularly well seen in a narrow room or one that is not sufficiently bright, preventing you from fully exploiting the depth of the Sunday evening crepe.

Terracotta ponziane:
Terracotta is the key color in decorating. A terracotta color, this shade pairs particularly well with so-called "natural" colors.
It also pairs very well with creamy beige for those who want to combine the natural character of terracotta with the softness of cream.

Blue sea trip:
It's a deep, intense blue color that isn't always easy to implement, even though it looks beautiful. Creamy beige solves this problem and allows you to avoid darkening the room in which it's applied.
This combination of colors is suitable for any room in the house, whether it's a bedroom or a living room.

In which room should I apply creamy beige?

Creamy beige has the advantage of being able to be used in any room of the house: its neutral and timeless character makes it a very easy color to combine and apply.
Creamy beige has the advantage of being able to be applied as a total look or combined with other colors, this shade helps to energize the space.

In a living room, the cream tone is very popular because of the luminous character it can offer but especially for the warmth that this shade of beige provides compared to a classic shade like white for example.
This observation of the universality of creamy beige also applies to all rooms in the house.

Moreover, beyond wall painting you can also repaint your kitchen furniture with this shade to bring a different color.
